When it was time for Dex to roll out their smartphone application, the challenge was clear - get the message into the hands of our target while their smartphone was in their hands.

 

With a target of 18-34 year olds, a modest budget and a specified action, the media buy had to be focused, sharp and lifestyle driven. We purchased media vehicles that were aligned with how the audiences spent their day – cups of coffee in the morning, mobile ads throughout the day and bar coasters at night. Radio was used to increase reach and further awareness.  

The campaign generated strong downloads from day one, increasing the daily number of downloads by 400% and moving the app from the 100th position to the first page of the iTunes store.
